Summer Homework: Prevent the Summer Slide

Check this page regularly. Updates and new ideas will be added throughout the summer.

My class will be using the Seesaw Blog and every student has their own login. Weekly Challenges will be posted beginning June 6th.

Reading
You should read at least 30 minutes every day.
Don't forget to use the MISD Digital Library.  Every student was taught how to sign-on to the Digital Library. All they need is an electronic device that connects to the internet.

Math
Practice and MASTER those multiplication facts 1-12.
Use Think Through Math to practice/maintain your problem solving skills.
Don't forget about Prodigy for alternative practice of math skills.

Writing
Everyone should have a writing journal they received at the beginning of the year. The students were expected to write two letters each week about their reading at home in this journal. Below are some suggestions for writing at least 20 minutes each day. You don't have to choose from this list. These are just some choices.
